IMPORTANT INFORMATION from OneBigBark PLEASE DONT IGNORE, it will probably be YOU next! And I sincerely hope it isn't!
We want to let you know of a man ringing missing dog owners usually from a withheld number and basically asking for a large sum of money (typically about £400-£600) in return for your missing dog, he never gives proof he has your dog, wants you to send money through the post office normally, although could be a bank account too, he sounds Asian, Often asks women if they are alone and tells you not to contact the police.
He can get quite nasty but he's basically an scam artist, preying on vulnerable missing dog owners.
We know of about 35 missing dog owners who have been contacted by this man !
PS THIS MAN DOES NOT HAVE YOUR DOG
Police and action fraud are investigating!!
For more information or if you have experienced this person or indeed paid him any money, we would be very interested to hear from you, (we do have quite a lot of details about this man 😃), please message admins from OneBigBark
This is a man who rung me whilst I was with my 4 and 5 year old in the car trying to con me out of money, playing on my emotions and making threats - didn't succeed with me did you!!!! - 2016-05-11 06:12 Simbarose
- It's a scam artist asks for £400-£600 to get your dog back by money transfer at post office. Call the police with any information you may have. I am Jazz's owner and have had this call along with about 35 others. He won't do anything to prove he has the dog. HE DOES NOT HAVE YOUR DOG

- Post on Facebook saying that a man has been in contact with owner and says he has this dog but wants money transferred to a post office account. Can CJ get involved with this.
