- Hi everyone - i have only just heard the news myself and phoned Mum. She is happy and safe with my parents and will enjoy being spoiled until we get back. They recieved a tip off where Lilah was, and although the police and dog warden went round to check they couldn't find her, my parents also visited the house and put up posters and put flyers through everyones door in the local area. She was released that evening and picked up by a local man where Mum and Dad picked her up from. Thank you so much to everyone who put up posters and spread the word about Lilah, it is only with all your help that we now have her back with us. I can finally smile again, and cry a lot of happy tears this time. I can't tell you all how grateful I am for all of your help. Thank you. x

- Lilah's owners are on their way to collect her from South Wales where she has been handed in and scanned. I'm sure Ella will be on here as soon as possible with further details but BIG thanks to the man who saw one of the many posters that owners had put up and took her to a vet.
- 2011-08-11 18:19 Leona*
- Glad you phoned and checked it out, its always worth remembering that chips can migrate or not be picked up by scanner at all - although this is rare it does happen!
- 2011-08-11 13:22 SuzeeBee
- So sorry that the dog at West End Kennels wasn't Lilah, but glad you checked. I do hope you get some good news soon. Will keep looking. Stay safe Lilah wherever you are. xx
- 2011-08-11 10:59 KBond
- I have just spoken to a lovely lady at the kennels who said Jemma was scanned twice and doesn''t have a chip. On checking her records she was brought into the kennels before Lilah was lost, so definately not her :-(. She did say though that she would download Lilah's poster for us and put it up so that's good. Disapointing result but pleased I contact them for Ella and Chris! The search goes on!
- 2011-08-11 10:34 KBond
- Will do! Not sure how much help I can be, as I say I don't visit often so haven't met Lilah much but if it at least get's them to double check for a chip it may be worth it! Will let you all know if I find anything out. Here's hoping!!
- 2011-08-11 09:43 buffysmum
- KBond, check out the site SuzeeBee has posted and give the kennels a call. It might be a long shot but poor Lilah could be anywhere unfortunately.
- 2011-08-11 09:15 KBond
- Hi SuzeeBee, I am a friend of Chris and Ella, how likely is it that they haven't read this dogs chip? I'm quite anxious about this, as I know Chris and Ella aren't able to log on too much right now to check this out? Wouldn't like to think it may be Delilah and we haven't been able to check on her! I haven't had much contact with Delilah so I don't think I can help too much

- http://www.westendfarmkennels.co.uk/rehoming/listings . Young female black lab found in Ipswich. This is Suffolk, but as she was lost at Game Fair could be anywhere. Please take a look. Good Luck.xLast edited: 2011-08-11 08:47:29 by SuzeeBee

- Hi there, the gamekeepers at Blenheim definitely knew about Lilah going missing. But it's worth reminding them. All of the ground staff were told I think. I phoned my mum from the airport about the battersea dog and she said that she would look into it for me as battersea had closed when I checked my emails. I haven't heard from her about it but I know that she was checking it. Thank you for keeping up the search. It is very hard being away at this time. I just want to find my girl.
- 2011-08-05 09:14 KBond
- HI all, I am a friend of Ella and Chris, I believe the Game Keepers at Blenheim know anout Lilah. As for checking out the dog at Battersea, I'm not sure what will happen as I know Ella and Chris are not available. I am not sure if they will have left someone in charge of looking for Lilah. If I can help in anyway, please let me know, I will try.
- 2011-08-05 08:20 labrador lil

- Thanks Anne, we were in and out of the CLA office on the Sat and the Sun of the game fair and to my knowledge Lilah wasn't found. I have also been in regular contact since with the fair officials and there is no word as yet. Thanks for passing on Lilah's details for me. Ella.
- 2011-08-03 23:22 Anne
- Have you checked with the CLA game fair office (contact number on the Game fair website) to see if anyone handed a dog in during the fair. I heard a labrador being circulated on the P.A. system as being found on Saturday. Perhaps she has been found and passed onto the local dog warden or someone from the CLA is keeping her safe.
I'll pass this one to the Gundog chairman, she or one of her team may have knowledge - 2011-08-02 15:19 Ella
- I have sent you an email Labrador Lil with my mobile on. I'll see if my parents could go to the Herefordshire country fair and put up posters for me.

- I can't find where I contact Labrador Lil personally. How do I do this? I won't have access to internet until I get back to Newcastle, prob very late tomorrow. Please poster as much as you can. Thank you so much. Ella.
- 2011-07-28 21:45 Ella
- no news I am afraid. I drove down from Newcastle today to search for her with no results. I am staying with my brother tonight and heading back out tomorrow. I could really do with someone to help with the postering as I live 5 hours away. My brother has done all he can but I'm conscious that there aren't enough posters about. I will try and poster as much as I can tomorrow but any help would be grately appreciated. I believe that Lilah has been stolen so need to get the word out as much as possible to make her too hot to handle. Anything would be brilliant.
- 2011-07-28 13:07 labrador lil
