On a cold mid December Saturday night / sunday morning a puppy was handed in at a police station in Nottingham. The staff has no blankets or food, and were concerned that the pup would not last the night as it seemed very young and undernourished. I was on the evening shift and had blankets / dog crate etc in my car so I collected the pup and took him home to hand to the dog warden on the monday morning. After a chat with the dog warden I decided to keep him until the owner came forward. I checked with vets and police and waited for his owner to come forward. One month later and I became the proud owner of a rather cheeky whippet (along with my 2 border collies who did not know what had hit them!) Fast forward to march 8th and a quick check of this site only to see my whippet looking back at me :( Contact was made with his breeder and with Derbys police. After a couple of days it was decided that he could remain with me.... I hope to meet up with his breeder / 1st owner so that she and her children can see what a cheeky monkey he has grown into!! Happy endings all round

Sorry to hear your puppy has been stolen .I have shared on my face book,also Stolen/lost pages + other dog sites,do hope he is soon found and the people who stole him get the punishment what they deserve

I am very close but wondered where abouts in Allenton it happened. Will definitely keep a close look out. Really hope he's found soon.

We need another photo, this one is too dark, you can't see the dog and it's really bad quality to enlarge. Will text to email me another. I also need to advertise this dog in CMW but can't do it with this photo.
