This is a long shot, but a dog has been into a Groomers in Uxbridge, Middlesex - he was bought from someone in a car . . . They thought it was dodgy and are taking him to a vets for scanning. We will see what outcome is . . .

It was on a friend's timeline on Facebook. A friend of hers had posted that her sister in law found a pug. He did have a collar on and they are trying to contact the owner shown on the name tag but were having difficulty getting through to them. I have asked now if they have had the dog checked for a microchip. It looks as though that one is probably owned by someone else, but I will check for any reply re microchip and advise.

Gail Stobbs Larrys owner is no longer able to access doglost ... someone set it up for her and they now have no contact .. she has also forgotten the password and isnt very pc literate ... im keeping in touch with her through messages ..
But if you want to contact and speak to her search her on fb .. you will see the pic of her and Larry on her profile .. from there she can be messaged ..

Black pug found tonight in Ryton, Tyne and Wear - not sure if looks like him, but thought I would check. Cannot copy the photo for some reason, but can put someone in touch with the person who posted him as found if anyone wishes.

details amended to young dog as chip details show this dog was born august 2016 so is now 7 months which will help when x matches are made for dogs similar.Email sent to owner re some details sent to doglost.

Morning Gail. Glad you managed to get the CRN to doglost for CJ the police Co-ordinator.
As others have said, your boy hasn't been forgotten. Many of us are looking out for him. Keep sharing (you have done brilliantly on the FB sharing) and keep looking out for him on the selling sites.
Did you or your neighbours manage to get any CCTV images of the lads that took him? Or any vehicle used?

Number sent is definitely just an incident number. I have emailed owner direct asking she goes back to police to as for a CRN. Also to send microchip number.

A CRN is generally much longer than the number you sent me. Could you ask the owner to look for a longer number which should have been supplied to her by the police along with that incident number. CRN stands for Crime Reference Number.

Now, I also see on FB a picture of him full face He is lying on someone's lap in a car. That photo gives a much better impression of his size and age. Would you be happy to change one of the pictures here over to that one please?

Thanks Anne. He is down on this listing as Adult which is considered 2-8 years old.
Young Adult is 6months to 2years
Puppy under 6months.
Getting him into the correct category is important for identification should someone find him or be searching FB or the selling sites to see if they can spot him - though sometimes the selling sites put whatever age they think will get the best bite.

I hope you are right and the lads who took him bring him back later tonight but it is wise to watch those selling sites like a hawk...just in case...
Usually stolen dogs are moved on pretty fast.

I expect you have him on all the Pug FB sites?

Still trying to find out roughly his age I'd say he's a puppy but will confirm when I get an update owner only had him a day or so but she has been in touch with persons she bought him from they are aware he is now stolen

Anne, I read a comment elsewhere that the owner (your friend) had only just brought this dog home. Has she recently purchased him? If so, was that from someone privately or an advertisement on the selling sites like Gumtree?

Not my dog I'm acting on behalf of owners Larry was stolen from his garden around 11pm last night by 3 lads he is microchipped and tagged to his home address so far no sightings owners understandably devestated .
