Requesting new alerts are emailed to areas around the Winfrith area which is under the Purbeck council dog warden, more to eliminate this being Pepper as it is quite a distance from her home.
Thanks Geoff, I hope it brings more news.

Appears in Countrymans Weekly 5th July.
03/07/2017 Possible sighting by someone who saw ad in the Dorset Echo - morning of Friday 29 June near Rainbow Garage, Winfrith. Please keep eyes open. Easier for a woman to catch than a man. Still hoping. Thank you!
Thank you very much Poochpal. Please keep trying. She disappeared on the lane from the A3162 down towards Stoke Abbott at around 11pm on the evening of May 25th. If anyone hit her - dark night, dark dog, - hit and dead?: hit and ran away? It would somehow be better to know...? Much better, of course, to find her alive!! Thank you.

Still checking Marcia, poor Pepper can not have vanished into thin air. I have been searching for sale sites and local Facebook groups. I have also put her forward to go into our column in the Countryman's Weekly. The further afield the ads are seen the more chance of someone coming forward.
June 12 still no sign of Pepper. Please keep looking!
6 June 17:52 Still no sign of Pepper. Please keep listening / looking out. Thank you
Thank you all very much for support. No sign of Pepper today. She was seen very near home Thurs. 11pm quite OK. Hit? Picked up? ?? The tag on her collar with phone no. says "Lily". She lost a collar so wearing collar and tag of our old dog - number is correct.

Pepper is still missing, even the thunder storms last night didn't send her running back home so we think she has either been picked up or is caught up somewhere.
Pepper was let out into the garden for her last wee late at night and, as she always does, ran up the garden to check for rabbits but did not come back. She was seen by the local game keeper in the lane around this time but no further sightings.
Chip company, dog warden, local farmers and vets all informed.
