- NEWTONS RECOVERY VIDEO
https://www.facebook.com/ThePetDetective/posts/1318613544840900 - 2017-06-14 10:41 Newton2017
- Good morning! We just want to say a MASSIVE thank you for everyone's kind words over the last 24 hours. We have received so many calls, texts, private messages, comments and emails. Know that we have seen them all and appreciate every single one.
After receiving so many calls from people saying they had seen him, we finally had the call yesterday that led us to him. He was spotted in an Alley way behind a council depot, just behind Pembroke Road, where he was last spotted running. We will probably never know what exactly happened, what he saw and what he experienced over the last 17 days.
He's doing well, very happy to see everyone and to be home. We took him straight to the vet, who checked him over. He's in a good condition, considering what he's been through. He's lost a lot of weight, so our focus now is to getting his strength back.
We can't thank everyone enough for sharing our story and helping us find him.
Lastly, if you see us walking around, please do stop and say hi so we can say a big thank you to you. He may look a bit different as we need to give him a big hair cut.
Also, if you see any of our posters around, please feel free to help us take them down.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

- Julie G, we had Newton's owners booked for Channel 5 News. Mad panic at 5.15pm as reunited and had to find another dog. Channel would not have cancelled if still missing. Owners have not confirmed to Admin or me.Last edited: 2017-06-13 18:06:46

- Channel 5 have just confirmed to me that Newton has been reunited.
- 2017-06-13 16:32 Mary
- So sorry it wasn't Newton this time.
- 2017-06-13 16:15 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- Dogwarden just phoned back to confirm the little white dog picked up was a west highland terrier which has been reunited with its owner.
She has the details of Newton and if gets any information or sightings will let me know - this is the area Kensington and Chelsea so another area of London aware. - 2017-06-13 15:11 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- OIC just called me back to say had no reports herself but will investigate this found dog and update me if she gets more information.
- 2017-06-13 14:54 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- Message sent to OIC dealing with Newton via the met system . I also asked where any found dogs are taken - they would be picked up by Animal warden.I phoned the council dealing they have put a report out taking my details and that of Newton and I asked they confirm if the white dog found is or IS NOT Newton.
They would check for a microchip as well. - 2017-06-13 14:37 Unknown
- I have put Newton up for Channel 5 News this evening. Unfortunately as it is such a busy news day I cannot get to the studio myself to appear alongside the owners and talk about how DogLost helps owners and how the Direct Line theft figures are SO wrong.Last edited: 2017-06-13 14:39:19

- I will ring CJ and see if she can help.

- Newton2017 ring the police officer who is dealing with the theft, so he can make enquiries or 101. If you don't have any luck ring DogLost as they can't monitor all comments put on here. If it is Newton I'm sure he is being very well looked after.
- 2017-06-13 13:29 Newton2017
- A man called me and said he met 2 police officers on Inverness Terrace and they had just found a white fluffy dog. Is this something you can check for me or let me know, who I should reach out to. I haven't hard any luck... thanks Trine

- Please let us know if there is anything we can do, we are following on here and on Facebook. Have seen that you are already postering all round. If you can give Posters to postmen/women locally, police, other delivery drivers around the area - they may get to see inside houses where you can't.
It is also worth e-mailing all dog groomers around the area too as he's the sort of dog that may be difficult to look after, so may turn up there (as one did last year).
I'm on 07774 724 797 if you need anything from our team.
Will share on Facebook again and Twitter too
Good Luck x
- 2017-06-12 21:46 Newton2017
- Thank you CJ! We've 2 people who both have seen Newton turn right from Earl's Court Road on to Pembroke Road and one of the them saw him cross the road.. he must have been so scared, as he would normally never go close to heavy traffic..
Today we have been contacted by The Daily Mail and I did a phone interview with them and Channel 5 would like to do an interview tomorrow. Also the sweet Amanda Holden has shared Newton's poster on Twitter and Facebook, which also have created some noise. I'm hopeful that if we keep going like this, with all the support and help we're experiencing we'll get Newton home soon. x

- As no sightings someone must have seen him and picked him up - as micro-chipped and with a tag there have been no reports of any one finding him - therefore keeping him is theft by finding and Met police have now recorded this as a stolen dog.
I have spoken to the officer dealing and if i get any information i will update her and she said if hears anything she will also let me know. She is lokking at other dogs taken close just in case any connections.
PLEASE PRINT POSTERS and get the message out there. He must be somewhere. - 2017-06-10 20:55 Newton2017
- Thank you reggiemollieros! This is of course important. I have now corrected it x
- 2017-06-10 20:17 reggiemollieros
- I just noticed the region is wrong.
It currently says South West but should be South East.
The region relates to fhe UK not area of London.
Thanks. - 2017-06-10 16:10 Newton2017
- Thank you so much! This sounds great and hopefully we'll get some useful information this way. Pls. keep me posted x

- 2017-06-07 15:29 CJ - Police Liaison & SE Regional Coordinator
- That is good that the met are looking at CCTV. Have they given you a CRN yet- if we can have it for our records we can change status to stolen.
- 2017-06-07 14:17 Newton2017
- STILL MISSING. We are treating this as theft and are working closely with the MET Police. They are reviewing CCTV so hopefully we will have some news soon.
- 2017-06-05 12:09 Newton2017
- Our curious puppy is still missing. Any tips or any information leading to Newton's return is fully confidential and will be rewarded... we just want our Newton home. His last sighting was on 27/05 at 12:45pm running south on Earl's Court Road towards Cromwell Road. Please continue to share, the outreach on social media has been so amazing and we can't thank you enough.

- Everyone has been so, so helpful but unfortunately nothing has turned up. We have every reason to believe he was picked up in the Earl's Court Area and we really need everyone in that area to keep their eyes open. Newton has distinctive gold ears and gold on his back. He's hard to miss! We have social media up under Bring Newton Home. Thank you everyone, and Claire I have emailed you back.

- Newton is most probably hiding in the park somewhere Is there a tracker dog that could be used to find him? Or maybe a trap if he may have entered the park? Stay safe now Newston, until you are found. Paws xd.Last edited: 2017-05-29 08:07:27
