Oh bless him. Glad little Bertie is OK. Stay safe sweetheart. x I know where I like to put ALL the fireworks and the recipients would be passing them until next New Year!!!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Welcome home Bertie and yes I go along with everyone tag and a chip would be good, and yes Tracy it must have been bad for the animals in that area and also the wild life, saw a very lovely roe dear today been killed and we think it also may have been frighten because of the bloody fireworks, lets hope they are few and far between now. Ditto, tag and chip owners please. It was a lucky escpe for little Bertie, albeit a terrifying ordeal for the little mite. If he had been picked up then owner would be contacted much quicker. Lots of TLC and reasurance will hopefully leave him not too worse for the experience. Yes you are right Tracy, mine went mad and it was only on the TV. We had to have it loud as the locals were even louder. We just kept talking to them and distracting as much as possible until it stopped. At least we get a little bit of a breather until later in the year - witht the odd exception. Sue xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Schipperkes are small when adult, so Bertie is going to be a real tiddler. They are right yappy when disturbed, but not sure if Bertie has developed this particular 'talent' yet. I hope that someone has found him and is looking after him.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Question...Are these dog's born without tails? Has Bertie got a tail? ! (just been on a Schipperke website - no tails)...in view of law on tail docking now.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Poor Bertie, have sent poster's to a friend at the Portsmouth dog pound, also to some clients of mine who know lots of local dog walkers in the Sally Port/southsea common area's.
