We have found him alive and well caught up in a branch in dense woodland about 1 1/2 miles away. So, so relieved. Thank you for all of your help and advice.
Thank you Tish. I have searched high and low in Groombridge Place and Burrswood today. Have met many people along the way so lots of people aware Alfie is missing. I think we may need to spread the search further tomorrow.

He will have gone either via Groombridge Place or Ashurst,have you spoken to all the houses at Burswood and Groombidge Place,I have 10 years experience with communication and dogs in general., what are your walks?Literally speak to builder sand anyone who is working on houses or woodlands , they areinvaluable xx
Still no sightings of Alfie. Have looked all around the woods at Groombridge Place and Burrswood. He has completely disappeared. Please keep looking and let me know if any sightings. Thank you. Sue
