Totally understand why additional alerts were sent out but the principle of the website is to keep all information on individual dogs together i.e. one post per dog, otherwise important information may be missed.
Additional alerts were requested by Ruby & Beetle’s owner following some info which indicated that they could be close to these postcodes & possibly with a person who does not have social media. The owner has been running a campaign which has involved sending out stickers publicising Ruby & Beetle which can be used on envelopes & parcels during this busy festive season. They have plotted a map to show areas which have supported the campaign and strangely there is a gap on the map in these post codes: so she thought maybe an idea to try and reach volunteers there who may be able to put up a poster in a local shop window for instance , to find a way to reach people there just in case it jogs someone’s memory: we have written to all vets and dog walkers that we could find details of. Paws crossed for news - it would be lovely to see them reunited in time for Christmas 🐾

Have queried with Admin and requested clarification as to where the additional alerts were sent to - I assume it should read NE19,46,49,61.
They are already both listed here - confusing to have another entry?

  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact investigations@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (151490)
