Just in case you are not familiar with aspects of the area around Quill St.----
Gillespie Park and the Parkland walk stretch leading from there to Seven Sisters Rd opposite Finsbury Park Station would definitely be worth a look.
Also, although in Islington, it is not far at all for a dog to find itself in Hackney or Haringay so both those borough's dog wardens would be worth contacting.
