Carol, it's so good to see this lovely boy in the reunited pages. Thank you for your help in making sure that this lad got back home and for checking up on him in the meantime. Doesn't he have THE most gorgeous face? Well done!

Hi everyone, I am very happy to report that this lovely smiley boy is back home with his owners.  The kennels confirmed this at lunchtime today. I will be on the look-out in my village for him in the future, but hopefully, this time on the lead !! Thanks Jayne and Doglost helpers for your care. I did, they said they had treat it, and they had a vet coming in three times a week to the kennel.  They also said that it would be up to the owners for further treatment. I will ring the kennels again this afternoon and update the page.

I have just phoned the kennels for an update and it looks like the owners have made contact, however, as yet, have not visited the kennels to collect the dog.  I will ring Deerness again tomorrow, and will update the page, hopefully, with good news!  Thanks so much to everyone for caring. x

Have put a note on Bruces page to check out, think the areas are too far apart though. Either way this is a beautiful smiley boy, hope he finds his owners/new home soon xx

Thank you. I'm going to ring the warden in a day or two, to check that his wound has been attended to.  It looked like it needed a stitch or two, and was just a new wound.

 Thankyou and well done to Carol for helping this dog ! I have  spoken to Shanes owners and he has been moved  over to the reunited pages. I have also ruled out STRIKE another Lurcher who is also now reunited too. I will keep searching xx Pam

I checked with the owner of "Shane", a lurcher identified on your "lost" search. (DL16), which is very close to Ferryhill. He looked similar, however, the owner said he had been found.

Carol thanks for posting on site and updating us ! I hope his injury was not a bad, one poor boy ? I have checked on a hunting forum to see if he is maybe a missing working dog but cant see him listed as missing by anyone as yet .Pam x

I found this lovely boy in Ferryhill Village, County Durham.  He is now with the Sedgefield Dog Warden.  He is certainly a Saluki Cross, as confirmed by the Dog Warden. He is unfortunately not chipped.  He also has a wound to his tummy, between his front legs. God bless him, I hope we find his owner soon.
