Hi there Where exactly was Anna lost. You say there has been a sighting near a main road. Which road do you mean? Was it the A419? If so, do not give up hope. We lost our collie on the side of the A419 a fortnight ago and she was missing for 6 days. A walker found her cowering in the ditch and called us. You could phone the Highways agency and report it. There workers pick them up and take them somewhere dead or alive. Good luckLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A lot of dogs that have been stolen in the south west region appear to end up in Winterbourne, Bristol. There is a travellers camp there which buys and sells dogs to order. The police cannot do anything as it is difficult to prove. I have been a victim of this crime twice and luckily both dogs were bought back. I would recommend sending leaflets to all vets in that area. Good Luck in your search.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
