Have a look at found dog 38334, could be Eddy grown up ? Clacton Town Centre ??
shared on FB and twitterd
I know I'm going to sound really mean and awful here but even though I posted the link onto the owners FB page, they didn't seem as though they were interested.
Whereas, if it were my dog that was missing and looked so much like this huskys picture then I would have made the trip to check him out in person at least!!! :(
Like fruitbat and hamish&katy, I just came on here having seen the husky on the Carmarthenshire lost dogs site - we must have been to the same 'amateur sleuthing' school! The facial markings on the found dog are pretty close to those on the photo of Eddy.
I saw that husky too fruitbat and have posted the link on the owners 'find eddy' facebook page....hope he is found soon :)
Would it be a good idea to check out the husky on this site . . . http://online.carmarthenshire.gov.uk/cccapps/english/straydogs/founddogs.asp

Isn't it worth a try?

Kaz :)
Please post an update on your search for Eddy. I so hope you have found or will find him.
There hasn't been much info about this little guy recently. I assume his cause is still on going :)Last edited: 2011-05-09 21:19:54 by fruitbat49
Twice now (including this evening) I have seen a 'new' sibe puppy being walked - more like run - by two young girls, about 7 or 8 years old, in Kirkheaton above the school on New Road (HD5). Unfortunately by the time I had stopped the car to chat to them they had disappeared. I will keep looking - it may be sheer coincidence. I don't know what gender their pup is even. each time I have seen them it has been about 5 pm.
There are no posters up here and my printer isn't working. Can anyone get some posters up around Kirkheaton primary School - I am sure that's where these girls attend.Last edited: 2011-04-11 20:01:05 by Yettontop
I didn't even know about the police website. It's a good idea but needs to be more publicised. I hope someone recognises him soon, it's a pretty good image of him. I'm sure someone will recognise him if you are able to put the image on facebook. Good luck
Found it.. www.westyorkshire.police.uk/?Page=348|Caught+on+Camera&Search=EA4094 Will pass it on.
Hi Jo, Had a look on the police caught on camera page but didnt see the guy you mentioned on there? Can you post the cctv pic on his FB group page? This would be really useful. :-)
http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_141587122575267 this is eddys facebook page. latest update is that a few people have seen him in bradley. and a family have found a husky puppy that they have sent it to kennels so im going to get on with that tomorrow. also if you click on westyorkhire police and go on caught on camera the man who stole him is on ther in a blue and yellow jacket date being 11th march and it says stolen from veachal please have a look if you no this horrible puppy theif xx
Any chance of this page being bumped? This is so sad to see the police aint doing much, Poor owners must be frantic with worry.
Someone suggested Gumtree on my posts, I've had a look there but so many of them look so alike. They may put up a different picture too of puppy for sale. These thieves who steal dogs are sneaky no good lowlifes...
Have you searched the pups for sale online or anywhere as they may have stolen with the intention to sell him. Sorry this does sound awful but it may well be a way of finding him. I will search online for any like this beautiful boy for sale xx
Jo, Im so sorry you still haven't found your beautiful little pup. Does he have a group page on Face Book? I have posted his pic & details on my group page, no response as yet. I will also post to my Profile page & tag "dog lost" friends in it to share on their pages.. Stay strong chick. Keep safe Eddy, Lets hope your found soon little one.

Bumped due to a sighting in Bradly.
Weve just been informed eddy was seen in bradly on a walk keep eyes peepled x
This is so sad, I really hope that you get Eddy back soon. Have you set up a facebook page to spread the word? Also maybe you could get some help and advice from Rocco's page. They did such a great job of spreading the word that all their hard work paid off in the end. Good luck and I hope you ind him soon. He is gorgeous. xxx
jo am so sorry to hear about eddy i have a husky too and i can imagine the pain ur in. i am from huddersfield myself and saw it in the examiner. the scum bag who pinched him needs finding, hopefully the examiner will print the pic for monday.i will print out some posters and also put one in my shop,i will put one up in pets at home on leeds rd tomz and also the pet shop on albert st at lockwood, fingers crossed hes reunited with u soon x i too have also posted it on my fb profileLast edited: 2011-03-12 21:34:03 by traceyg
Jo, so sad for you! I've spoken to my vet, they have a lost register, also emailed them the poster. My worry is, he could be out of Huddersfield or taken to another vet. The Examiner (with CCTV pic if legal) is a good idea. For such a touching story maybe the Yorkshire Post would help or even Calendar News may run a short item? Good luck xLast edited: 2011-03-12 13:28:42 by Ang

Well done getting a full page spread!
Ive got a full page story written about him. Im not giving in!! Im going to find this heartless man and get my beautiful baby back whatever it takes!! And thanku for ur help x
Jo I really would contact the examiner if you have a cctv image of the guy - if you can find out who he is quickly you have a really good chance of getting Eddy back. Good luck x
Just a thought - email the poster to all the vets in the area, if someone has him they will have to take him for his vaccs etc to one of them.
Also he has a white tip at the end of his tale i dont no why itt wouldnt let me write it x

You must be devastated!!¬ Was the car not locked? Is the police investigating? Is there maybe a CCTV nearby? I am thinking of you tonight!! I have posted on my facebook..xx M
Really sorry to hear about Eddy being taken. Phone the Examiner first of all to see if they will cover the story with a photo so that you can get people all over Hudds to know about him and also to get an advert in the Lost & Found - if you ask them they will put in a large ad for you with a photo which means people will look out for him. I will put some posters up around Kirkheaton for you - in the pub/shops etc - ask as many people you know in Hudds to do the same in as many villages as possible, I hope this will help.
