Fantastic news ! So very pleased, I must admit I wasn't holding out much hope for this old girl, but this has made my day - if she slipped out the door at 8pm on Friday night, she's probably been to meet an old boyfriend eh !

Great news - Sally is home and seemingly none the worse for her mini adventure! She was picked up and handed in to the RSPCA at New Cross which is approx 6 miles from home and close to the very busy South Circular road. They collected her at lunchtime today. It's one of Sally's owner's birthday today so at least she can celebrate with a glass (or two!) of wine. Welcome home Sally and no more wandering off on your own!!!Last edited: 2011-06-06 22:45:48 by Millys Mum

I have checked owners registration - it is there - if you ave forgotten your password or cannot get in with it press 'login in problems ' and request a new password, when you get the email cut and past the letters inside the ' ' markings and you should get in ok then and can update page and change password again

Sally's owner - thanks for your text & sorry to hear that you are still having problems logging-in. Sally's owner's text says: 'Thank you for all your support - shocked at level of response!

**PLEASE CAN SOMEONE HELP SALLY'S OWNER TO ACCESS SALLY'S PAGE SO THAT SHE CAN UPDATE US**

As promised, I sent a text to one of Lewisham Council's dog wardens, have emailed one of our DL Helpers who works at Battersea and have also contacted the local holding kennels (spoke to one and have left an answerphone message at the other kennel). Also, Sally's owners, if you are reading this, I would recommend calling SDK Environmental AGAIN (0844 482 8337) and speak to the daytime/weekday staff. I presume who have been given a reference number from your previous call to them as I can't remember if I asked you that question. You should, by now, have received the email with Sally's mini-flyers attached sent by Angus. As I said to you yesterday, don't bother to print these in colour but just use black & white photocopies but preferably onto brightly-coloured paper (bright orange works well) and hand these out to just about everyone you come across: cab drivers, street cleansing workers, posties, schoolchildren, dog walkers, etc. Also, if Hope Park is a walk from where you live, I would suggest popping a mini-flyer into each house/property en-route. I'm in work this afternoon from 1pm to 7pm but although we're not allowed to receive calls, you can send me a text.
Finally, just poster like made and make Sally the best-known and 'hottest' girl in town!!! Fingers (and paws) crossed this end.Last edited: 2011-06-06 19:41:14 by Millys Mum

Have just spoken to Sally's worried owner who is very grateful for the support/kindness she has received so far from DogLost. It was actually the RSPCA who suggested that Sally was registered with DogLost. She is having problems logging in at the mo (her internet provider is ntlworld). She will try again but, if unsuccessful, she will call DogLost Admin. She would like to request mini-flyers but before they are sent would like to update Sally's details: add mobile number 07504 711 380 (and could the landline number be typed as 020 8851 1269 as easier to decipher/read). Sally went missing from home (slipped out the front door) around 8pm on Friday evening, 4th June. Owner said Sally is a 'bit scatty' who loves to sniff and, because of her age, has poor hearing and eyesight. She is also on medication for painful back legs. Sally came from RAIN rescue 8 years ago and owner believes that she may still registered with RAIN or previous owners. She is wearing a gold glittery collar but no ID tag. Owner has reported Sally to Battersea, SDK Environmental and Lewisham's DW service as they are on the boundary of 3 councils (local Council is Greenwich). The family have another dog who has been taken out to look for missing Sally. Their local park is Horn Park, Lee. She will be putting up posters in local school(s) tomorrow as children are back at school. I've asked Sally's owners to post once her logging-in problem has been resolved.
