have you seen post 36245 on the found section, 6 lurchers found in a van. 2 of them are golden coloured, hope 1 of them is yours

there is a lost and found section and there are posters on here from all over the UK
Have there been no sightings at all to go on? It may be worth you checking the Lurcher link web site as they do have dog wardens who post on there because they know they are looking specifically for lurchers to home.I will post the full link in a minute. My Lurcher is my best mate as well so I can only imagine how you must be feeling.
just want to say thanks to everyone who is concerned abouy charlie even though my prize dog and best mate is still missing people like you lot take the pain away ytanks for the support
Have looked around on lurcher link and nothing so far. But I will keep looking.
Charlie is not the dog in the article owner confirmed, that would be good janus if you could do that.
I will check on Lurcher Link- a forum I belong to. Although it is not local they get lurchers for sale from all over the country and also dog wardens post on there as well. I am a lurcher owner as well.
Alfies mum

Ive added that one to the poster as this is his more natural look if he is roaming.
Thanks The girls! I have forwarded the link to the article to the owner.x
Jansus the owner is aware of the thefts,Thanks.x
Spoken to owner and sending advice email now...and getting photo sorted so Alerts can go out.Charlie got out with another lurcher but only one of them returned home, there was a sighting of him but there has been nothing since but there are no posters up yet,so have advised owner to get lots up A.S.A.P and hopefully somebody will remember something...Will email local holding kennels to see if he has been taken there at all.Last edited: 2012-01-04 22:12:16 by Shereen

The girls!
There was an article in the Hunts Post on 31 Dec about a rough coat lurcher boy thrown from the back of a van in Cambridgeshire on 21 Dec 2011 and was taken in by Woodgreen - sadly lost a leg but there is a picture that I have hopefully linked from the article. If not this boy your looking for someone may recognise him. Seems to be a trend at the mo unfortunately. Running dogs seem to come this way for coursing as quite flat http://www.huntspost.co.uk/news/latest-news/cambs_dog_thrown_from_van_loses_his_leg_1_1165942
This is quite close to the where the tibetan terriers went missing - and unfortunately lurchers are very popular with the travellers. Would it be worth letting the owners know where the other dogs were found?
Sorry to see that CHARLIE is missing.
