Just an update, we never did hear what happened to Lucy and don't think we will, she was chipped but iv been told they can be cut out and it's been 8 years December so don't think we will ever hear anything, I have not received any emails lately so only just read the last few comments so sorry for late reply. The details do need updating please owner , is Lucy Microchipped and where and what happen on the day she went missing please.
This web site was hacked a couple of years ago now and some off the data got corrupted or lost :)

Michelle this is exactly why we have started Dolly's Directive. Everyone needs to discuss this with their vets to see if they automatically check for permanent id every dog to surgery. Write to your local MP and the RCVS outlining why you think Dolly's Directive should be implemented, we all have to reason with these people to make a change. We can all do it if we stick together. no not heard anything i dont think we will now, the vets dont check for microchip very offten so someone has got her and unless lucy runs away from them or the people that have her take her to get microchipped she probably wont be checked. Thanks for asking take care

Hi just to let everyone know it wasn't lucy that dog definatly looked like lucy (well what i expect lucy to look like now but she had a white line on its nose and lucy never had any white on her face just on her chest, also that puppy is 5 months old where as lucy is about 8 months old now. I do not want to sell her but originally I had just the one dog. She was stolen off my back garden just before Christmas. After a month we thought she was long gone so I bought this staffie for my children. Two days after we got her our other dog was returned. I vowed I would keep both but the truth is I can't cope with two dogs and five children so I need to find her a new home. She is very loving and she loves a good long walk. I'm not to sure about her exact age or weather she has had her injections I have been meaning to take her to the vet to see if they can tell me. We bought her from a family who were ill treating her so we did not get much information about her. We believe she is approximately 5 months old. ?80.00 Call me on 07013 114124 thats not actually their number it goes through the site first then onto there number i maybe jumping the gun big time here AND IM SORRY IF I AM AND VERY SORRY IF I OFFEND ANYONE contact detals are.......

Right - I've put some posters up around the Marston Green area (chemist, butchers etc) - and have been offered a wonderful advertisment oppurtunity for Lucy and Simba. Our wonderful local postmaster has offered his advertising tv that sits right at the front of the postoffice for all waiting customers to see. He charges local businesses to put an animated advert on screen, but has offered this service free so that we can alert people to these missing pups. What a gent eh!!

You need to get posters up around the fort shopping centre, and Star city would be a good idea too. B&Q superstore at Castle Vale, and have you postered TK Max & Sainsbury's? You should contact the Big Issue office. Go in there with 200+ leaflets and they will put them into the mags for you - I did and they did. Walk around Birmingham, give all Big Issue sellers a copy of your poster labelled with a big reward in BIG RED LETTERS. Hi Lucy's mum, maybe Nik could help you with advertising info but if you pop to your local bus garage they may be able to pop some posters up for you, milkman, local sorting office for the posties, and if you have access to the internet, the yellow pages is good, as you can get addresses for local shops, schools etc. Have you had any sightings or anything??? I have pinned a poster in our local chemists. There are a lot of people go in there that are taking the heroin substitute. If Lucy was taken, these are really the most obvious type of people to be putting the message out to. A lot of people off the Wood (Chelmsley Wood) frequent this chemist too. Have also put the word out for pup owner especially to be vigilant.

There was a pup that looked just like this on ebay last night, various people ebayed the man and he is now taking the pup to the RSPCA, he was in the Chemsley Wood area of Birmingham. Not sure how far that is or if it is the same pup. I do have details of the auction even thou it has now been deleted if you need them

Hi Lucy has got a scar on one of her paws, she also has a tiny bald spot on the top of her head which may have been a bite or sting, she also had a bit of a rash which was fading where she had a reaction to a bite or sting which has been treated. I am so worried please help us find her, my 2 year old son keeps asking for her its breaking my heart, we miss her so much.

Oooh - this baby is close to my area so will poster like mad. I'm already playing Miss Maarple to find Bosley, so will add this little angel to my list. Does 'went missing' mean taken by some #@*er?????. Best wishes xxx
