OMG ! What an amazing result, after all this time. Owners must have gone mad when they received the news ! I wish I could have seen their excitement. I am so happy for them that Tinkerbell is home. Excellent story and well done to those that made this happen xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

OMG I am so so thrilled that after all this time this little one is back where she should be.  This should give hope to all the other owners still waiting for their dogs to come home.  Welcome home.  Power to the microchip. Cant wait for a reunited photo.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

What a wonderful story - (how I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall in that house when the phone call came through). Stories like this do give hope to other owners with long term missing dogs and emphasise the importance of microchipping your pets and keeping that information up to date. Welcome home Tinkerbell x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

YIPPEE - 3 years and 11 months after this little one went missing she is home with one more than very happy owner - reunited through her chip.  Been to the vet and although very underweight is otherwise fine.  So so happy to switch to blue - give hope to so many others and reiterates the importance of getting a microchip.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have you let the dog warden know about the possible sighting? They may be more helpful than the police.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

For Jayne Tinkerbell is still lost but Lindsey wanted me (she is not confident on the computer) to thank everyone so much for all thier help and support. It has been a great comfort. In the last couple of days Lindsey has been to the police twice. They have been incredibly unhelpful even with a witness (me) willing to give a statement including dates, descriptions etc. The fact that I saw a man pick a little Yorkie up on the day and time matching Tinkerbell's disappearance - has not made the slightest difference and Lindsey has not been allowed to report her as stolen. This morning we went inside the nearby travellers camp which was quite frightening but we hope they will pass round the increase in reward.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

caninepartner:
I am a partner in a dog walking company in Burghfield Common. I believe it was Tinkerbell I saw in Mortimer. She was running along the middle of a road and I was driving towards her. She was being followed by cars who had had to slow down behind her. I stopped and tried to catch her but she was caught by some workmen in donkey jackets driving a large van/lorry. I offered to do a quick check on her as I am pet first aid trained, and then take her to Vet. The workmen said they knew her owner, an old lady, and would take Tinkerbell to her. Happy outcome I thought until two days ago when I saw her poster and meet her owner's daughter. Please now report this dog stolen. I will relay the above information to the police. Please try to get them to take this seriously. My contact details are on our website should you need to call me: www.allpaws.co.uk Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
