Me and my family are so happy. After 4 and a half weeks he's back home where he belongs. He's lost a lot of weight but other than that the vet has said he is good.Last edited: 2019-07-13 07:39:05 by ClareR

From Frodo's facebook page....
More work in progress with the Warden of the Nature Reserve there are some areas he will have to escort us and we have also been given more strict instructions , so please just keep sharing the poster and watch this space , thank you xx

UPDATE taken from Frodo's facebook page....
Team Frodo would like to point out that the area he has been sighted in is a CONSERVATION AREA.
Monday's search was organised around activities and events taking place this month on the reserve and we FULLY ACKNOWLEDGED the fact that not only are there nesting birds including breeding bitterns but some rare wild flowers, plants and insects too , a discreet network of footpaths are maintained for visitors and bird watchers which were carefully adhered to on Monday by our wonderful searchers , most of them being locals so knowing the area well .
Thank you again for your co-operation , please keep sharing Frodo's poster and we will keep you updated .

Thank you to everybody who went to the search for Frodo last night, it was a massive turnout (around 50 people)
The search party managed to cover a large area putting more posters up on the way round.
The area that was searched was where the sightings have been, around Aldringham Church "area", the conservation area, Nature Reserve and North Warren .
Fingers crossed this lovely boy will let us know where he is settled so a feeding station can be organised and eventually a trap set.

This maybe a daft question but have you checked with dog rescues in Suffolk?
Someone may have taken him to one.
TaniaLR
Can you drop 2 posters off please?
I’ll make a double sided sign, should be more noticeable.

Hello, i am SO sorry to hear Frodo is still missing. I live on Red House Lane in Leiston.
I would be happy to put up a poster in my front garden. Loads of dog walkers pass my house everyday and I’m sure it will help find little Frodo sooner.
I don’t have a printer so if someone can drop a poster off at my house I will keep it there on display until he is found.
ClareR
Tania, I'm more than happy to pop one through your door if you let me know what number it is. Thanks for your help.

Hi Clare I have put up one outside the coop one in the community centre where they do keep fit going towards where he was lost and one on the way out going towards Sizewell past the pub in Leiston and one in a shop past the cinema one down the high street, what I’m worrying about is the railway line at Leiston as dogs sometimes pick up other dog scent and follow the line I pray this little beautiful dog gets found soon xx

Thank you Gloria for offering to help, around the Leiston area would be good, I know the owner has covered the areas where Frodo was possibly sighted (which are on the poster above) but as there hasn't been any recent sightings posters need to go further a field now.
Gloria

Frodo has now been missing a week, he has been featured on Radio Suffolk today, hopefully this will bring some news x
DogLostHelen - Regional Co-ordinator - Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridge
I met up with the owner and Anna (who has been a great support to the owner) and a few other people and we searched the area where the last sighting was, the area is huge and has many places that a little dog can be well hidden, sadly there were no sightings of him yesterday.
We are asking people that if you do see him please do not call him or try to catch him as he is running scared but to contact the owner immediately.
