- Other Info Kim is a female Cocker Spaniel, with distinctive black markings & scarring on the back of her front left leg. She was taken away from her yard in Snaith on the evening of Weds 13th May. Possibly seen wearing a blue rope round her neck (put on by the thieves) there is an active Police investigation into the theft of Kim who is microchipped with a STOLEN alert on her record

- Oh my goodness what has she been through in these 5 years. Poor girl, at least she's going home now. That first rescue vet is a disgrace she should never have been handed back to the new owner - plus they should have known within reason how old she was and told them no puppies - even says that on the doglost report!

Mitzy came into rescue, we were told she was 6yrs old.
She isn’t, she is 14yrs old and went missing in 2020 from a Yorkshire farm
She was bought by someone from a campsite, taken to a rescue vet and the vet checked her chip and informed the new owner she has been reported missing in 2020
The new owner didn’t understand the meaning of this
Mitzy went on to have two pups at the age of 13 poor girl, one was stillborn
Christine contacted Mitzys real owners who are over the moon and they will be meeting half way in Cambridge to hand Mitzy over to her rightful owners, this is going to happen on Saturday and we will put a video up of the hand over
This is why having your dog microchipped is so very important
Without this chip we wouldn’t have found the information when we scanned her.
The rescue vet that saw her first should have done something but for what ever reason they didn’t
All our rescues are scanned when they come in

**Update** Kim will be coming home on Saturday, my mum is meeting them in Cambridge. Kim is fine and safe and being cared for until then. I really cannot thank her rescuers enough, we had just about given up hope of ever seeing Kim again. I will be going to my mums on Sunday so will get lots of photos of Kim, I cannot wait to see her 😊. I just want to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone of you for continuing to share Kim’s missing posters over the last 5 years. Spaniel type dog found. Sorry photo not great & gender not confirmed. Taken to a Vet's in Whitley near Godamining, Surrey.
Dog looks like it has been out for some time.

- Hi Emily. That's not Kim but thank you so much. I don't think I have any more photos as she's my Nana's dog and my Nana's phone doesn't actually take photos. I will keep looking however.
