Sadly none of these dogs are Lassie. Lassie is a smooth coat cocker spaniel.

What do we know so far?

Lassie was stolen by some travellers who came all the way from Nantwich to steal her

She was then taken back to Nantwich and then there was various rumours of sightings of her around Guisborough (TS14) and Thornaby-on-Tees (TS8)

Then the trail went cold. This was three years ago and in a couple of days, it will be coming up to four years.

Really wasn’t expecting to be searching this far down the line

Dog thieves are a joke!!

We know she was stolen by a family of travellers called the Hamilton family on the New Start Park site because the police said the car came from Nantwich. Also we had some brave souls tipping us off that she was there, they phoned Thomas (the owner) anonymously and told him that Lassie was there. We didn’t release Lassie’s name when she was first stolen and the people who tipped us off said “have you lost a dog called Lassie” and then they said that Lassie had been stolen by the Hamilton family that owned the site and she was on the site. They wouldn’t tell us who they were obviously because of repercussions, if only we could track them down and find out what happened to Lassie. Only problem is the phone calls stopped so either they genuinely couldn’t tell Thomas anymore, or the Hamilton’s had somehow found out that they were being grassed on and threatened them. It was a man and woman that were brave enough to tel us this much.

I couldn’t find that post at all. Please can I ask for another publicity push for Lassie. I can’t believe after three years that she still isn’t home. What on earth is wrong with you dog thieves. Why can’t you just buy your own dogs instead of stealing everyone else’s you absolute swines 😡😡😡. Also this comment is directed at the scum that protect these dog thieves. How would you all like it if someone took your beloved animal and people didn’t come forward to help you. You’re all scum.

I am aware of the raid carried out by Gwent Police & I have made contact. Please keep all fingers, paws, toes & even eyes crossed for Lassie.

To the thieves that have Lassie, you may as well give her up now. Raids are happening more & more frequently. Drop her off at a vet & say you found her. It really mustn’t be a nice feeling having to look over your shoulder all the time

Just has confirmation from Essex Police that Lassie WAS NOT one of the dogs seized in the Dunmow raid. The search sadly goes on. Please keep sharing and looking for Lassie. Holly, is anyone helping you re the cctcv footage? I see from your FB posts that the police have released the footage and you are now able to share it. Any chance it can be enhanced? See if you can encourage your local press or tv to run a feature on Lassie's abduction. Pester anyone and everyone until they do help. Hope you get some positive news soon.

Holly, there were some more dogs seized by Bedforshire police on 7?october I think....12 dogs were seized when police executed a warrant following the arrest of 2 men and a woman in connection with a burglary in Wilden last month. Two of the seized dogs had been stolen from Wilden, ( another dog from Wilden was found straying 100 miles away) but police are trying to find rightful owners of the others. No details of breeds etc, but police FB group suggests people contact them via 101 and quote 40/49974/20 for information. Joanx

Today marks two months since Thomas went into his garden and found his beloved Lassie was missing.

Lassie was dragged out of her kennel by her back legs. She was heard screaming & crying in pain & fear. She was then carried down the street to a waiting car, she was bundled into said car and then was driven away.

Thomas & Lassie don’t deserve this. They have done nothing wrong, they are innocent. If you had any sense of humility, loyalty & honesty about you then you’d let Lassie come home.

Please, just do the right thing. We will never give up so if you think by staying silent you will wear us down, you’re wrong. We will keep going until we find Lassie.

Lassie is a female 6 year old chocolate cocker spaniel who was stolen out of her pen and TIPPED UPSIDE DOWN by her back legs as she was being carried to a waiting vehicle. Lassie is a very much missed family pet, you are waking up this morning and making your breakfast, spare a thought for Thomas Calvert who is her again waking up without Lassie and she is yet again missing out on another breakfast with her family

I can confirm that we have made enquiries and neither of the chocolate cocker spaniels recovered are Lassie. Thank you though. Please keep looking for her. She’s out there somewhere.

Following the recent police operation in Orpington, 17 dogs have been found & confirmed or suspected to be stolen, - look on fb page for Croydon Police or Call 101 @MetCC and quote Op Medusa - there’s one on there that looks like your one

Just a few pointers. Lassie was clipped roughly about three weeks before she was stolen and she’s got an unusual “quiff” on top of her head too.

We you to keep looking, keep sharing & keep talking about Lassie in order to make her too hot to handle.

Our girl was stolen from her garden in #Stokesley in #NorthYorkshire overnight on Tuesday 38/07/2020. She is #microchipped with a #STOLEN alert on here microchip. So far @northyorkshirepolice have been no help whatsoever and they won’t allow the owner to release the #CCTV footage from the night of theft. Also a #999 call was made as the theft was witnessed and the police didn’t even show up until two hours after the dog was stolen!!!!!This is so wrong. Please share.
