As Claire has said below, these 2 wonderful boys are now safely back with their distraught owners!

Earlier today, Cheshire Police located Denzel and Welly at a property in Stoke-on-Trent, this was the most amazing news we had all been waiting for! 😊

Cheshire Police are leading by example right now and 3 people who were at the address in Stoke – a 37-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman and a 15-year-old boy – have all been arrested on suspicion of theft in relation to the incident.

They are all in custody being questioned as part of their ongoing investigation into the dog thefts.

“ STOLEN FAMILY LABRADORS*
Here’s what we know so far:
2 male black Labradors stolen from Nantwich, Cheshire
Both castrated, Denzel is 8 and Welly is 7.5 years old.
Blue collar and grey/ silver collar
* 2 men took the dogs outside M&S approx 6:05pm and fled towards Market Street. Witnesses saw the men take the dogs
* the 2 men have been seen on cctv going down Market Street dragging the dogs with them
* Eye witnesses of the men with the dogs near the church
* CCTV of the men and both dogs going past Costa and up Hospital Street
* sighting of 2 men looking sheepish and exhausted near Boot and Shoe
* sighting of 2 men matching description hiding behind the bottle banks in Morrison’s Car park talking loud on the phone
* sighting of a women with dark hair on the phone hanging out of her car at the top end of Morrison’s Car Park by Pillory Street asking “where are you I can’t see you” or similar
* the women then seen picking up the men in what could have been a dark coloured Nissan Qashqai which then exited the car park driving behind and unaffiliated work mans van.
Possible sightings of the men that match the cctv images in Nantwich town and by Mill Island earlier in the day.
There has been sightings of various other vans around including repeated sightings of the same van in various locations around Cheshire. This is not yet identified as affiliated but it does help to keep spreading the word of anything untoward.
As with all crime it has was reported to the police as soon as the theft happened and they are working hard to investigate this.
Thank you so much for all the exposure, information and support from everyone. We are obviously absolutely devastated and heart broken but we are getting some comfort that we have such an amazing community all across social media. We can only continue doing what we can to spread the word and hope that they are back with us at home safely and as soon as possible.
We won’t stop searching and sharing until they are found. We will ask no questions if they are found and we are able to get them home safe and sound. A substantial reward will be offered to anyone that finds them or returns them to us.
We just want them back and so do our heartbroken daughters.
Please keep doing whatever you can. Thank you”

Cheshire Constabulary has been brilliant in assisting Dale and Rachel, they have had officers on the ground searching for the two dogs and staff from the CCTV team trawling through CCTV cameras to locate Denzel and Welly.

They have been sighted with two men running/being dragged down market street, nantwich. One man with a black jacket/jumper and blue jeans with a green m&s carrier bag and one with a black/grey jacket and light/beige trousers and black shoes.
