A Chiuahua has been picked up near the Potters Heron Ampfield.Its on the lost and found dogs Hampshire site on facebook
I think it's been taken to the vets, not sure which one though

Sorry that Piglet hasn`t been found yet. Keep making your boy "TOO HOT TO HANDLE" Poster where, and when you can, including post offices; shops etc. Of course Piglet is your world. I think all pet owners will agree. It`s great that you rent a cottage with a garden for your boy. Pets are part of the family, and what you do for your boy, is no-one else`s business except yours. All xd that Piglet will be home with you very soon. Someone know where Piglet is x

Still no news about Piglet 💔 Was he found and kept? Was he found and then rehomed or given away. If you have taken on a dog who looks like Piglet, please take the dog to have their microchip registration checked. Any vet practice will do this for free.

I care for none of it. . Without my boy it’s all pointless. . I don’t need a cottage, a garden, a car . . These were all for my boy. . To keep him safe, to keep him happy and looked after. .

There is not a single nano second that Piglet is not in my thoughts. . Every single second, every single minute, every single hour, every single day. .

The only rest I will ever get again in this life is when I have my boy back in my arms or I’m dead.

I was at a dog show in Gloucester last weekend Teckle dog show Fromebridge Mill 2 fields opposite the pub. Lady had a chihuahua that looked very like Piglet. I tried to talk to her and ask her questions about her dogs unusual colour and what was it called its age. Se had her coat partly wrapped around it on a very hot afternoon. She was very strange. I tried to take pic but she went off. Sat 18t Aug around 2pm no pics of in event photos.

Dog owner faces losing her home after beloved Chihuahua was stolen in terrifying raid

A devastated dog owner is in danger of losing her home as she refuses to give up searching for her stolen pet called Piglet.

‌The tiny Chihuahua vanished after a burglary on a canal boat in Harefield, Uxbridge back in March. But Piglet's owner is refusing to go back to her home in Derbyshire and has been walking hundreds of miles in search of the missing pet. Mellie Clements, 54, had been staying on the canal boat for a few days when her two year old terrified dog escaped during the raid, just as she visited the dentist.

‌"I haven’t been home since he went missing because I haven’t got a home without him,” the cook said, in floods of tears. It is believed Piglet has been picked up by a stranger who won't give him back after an anonymous call was placed claiming the dog was ‘safe and well’. The police have been informed and are investigating.

‌Karen Harding from DogLost, who is trying to help track down Piglet, says they are “absolutely desperate” to help Mellie describing it as one of their "hardest cases" to date. “She’s literally not going home to Derbyshire without him.

‌“She’s literally spent every day and night since March 29th postering and talking to people, searching everywhere. She is always so tearful - he is her life Piglet is a pretty and sweet natured dog and we do think he’s been found and kept. There is a substantial Finders Fee on offer for information leading to the safe return of Piglet - they will collect from anywhere.”

Sharing again for Piglet on Twitter - I’m also “pinning” his poster at more than 70 different locations local to the spot where he went missing - (so it’s like actually putting a poster up there but it won’t get wet or torn down!) - hoping to reach people who are in these locations today and pinning their own photos who might then be able to look out for him - spreading it quite wide now that time has passed. Also hoping to reach doggy people by tagging local woods & parks - if Piglet was innocently picked up and kept by someone who doesn’t realise he’s loved & lost then he may be recognised. Let’s cover all the bases again & again x
