Thanks Jackalee for the text alert and Thornberry Animal Sanctuary for letting us know the brilliant news. :) I've just got home from work.

Knew you would get Max back and whoever had him would release him, a massive THANK YOU to the lady for saving him from traffic he is one lucky boy.

Everyone has worked so hard and it paid off for you WELL DONE. Have great pleasure in moving the gorgeous Max into the BLUE. Wishing him and his family a great future together. Lots of hugs and cuddles from everyone on DogLost. Jan x

sorry for the delay, as you can imagine it's been a bit frantic.
a lady was driving in South Anston and a dog ran into the road, they almost ran him over. Thye brought the dog here as local people do and it was Max!!
A lot of tears have been shed. Thanks so much to everyone who has helped us. I cannot really express in words how absolutely fantastic everyonw has been. I'm crying agin lol

Thornberry Animal Sanctuary you are doing a fab job in your search, it is only a matter of time before the calls come in or whoever has him dumps him so he can be found.

Sorry not been able to update, we have been so busy :(
Still no news of Max. The CCTV has been fully checked and still only original suspects. Police rang and are very interested in the case. They are coming out to look at footage and trace vehicle. We have got a lot of posters out today, but still need more help. As we cover a large area he could be anywhere in South Yorks, North Derbys, North Notts.
A lot of people today said they read about Max on the internet, so the publicity is reaching people. Thanks to everyone who has crossposted. I am feeling positive at the moment that we WILL get little Max back.

He is also on Dogpages and various rescue sites. Printing out posters and will get these out in the morning.
Max had a new home to go to and a number of other people wanted him and were persistent, so possibly suspect. Will try and cross reference CCTV to vehicles that were in during week as well as today.

We have contacted radio stations. Trax FM did a recorded interview with me this afternoon which will be going out. Radio Sheffield are calling me back in morning, as are Calendar. Emailing newspapers. One of staff had photo on phone, thank goodness. Max had only just come in so didn't have official pic yet. We do have CCTV and have one set of potential suspects and car reg. We will be going through whole tape again tomorrow. Many of my rescue friends are flooding the internet. He is on our Facebook group and Twitter. Also posted on Sheffield Forum. Thanks so much for all the help.

Seen this on Liverpool Boxer Rescue FB Group, tried the landline to offer advice and see if they have any photo/s of Max or possibly a SIMILAR one. The word is spreading on FB. Keeping everything cross he is found soon. Jan x

Poor little Max. Do you have cctv within or perhaps nearby. How cruel to take a little one. Perhaps someone just wanted a dog for free. Or..have the last owners, perhaps, turned up and taken him?
