Don't want to get your hopes up, but there is a dog on FB today, found about 30 miles from where you are. I checked the location, link below if you care to check. Apologies if it isn't x

They say it isn't microchipped, but we know that the chips don't always show up and sometimes move.

Dog is currently with Bury / Oldham RSPCA

I think that has to be up to you how much you offer and yes really cheeky but suprisingly lucrative i imagine. Amazingly how quickly they were suddenly 'found nearby' as soon as the poster went up though. Sorry im not nearer to help look but good luck. Hope you find him soon x
mabba21
Yes it is worth a try, how much reward did they offer ?
that is really cheeky if it is something organised crime like that !!
thanks x
Clare
Just a suggestion as there is a traveller site nearby. I know two people who have lost dogs in similar circumstances. As soon as posters were put up near the site stating the amount of the reward offered the dogs were quickly 'found' and returned. In exchange for the reward of course. He is such a handsome boy. Hope you get him back safely soon x
mabba21
Thanks, i rang i private pet detective, and he suspects he may have been stolen with all the information i gave him, he also said the only about 50% of vets and kennels scan microchips so i cant really fully on him being scanned somewhere, so i will be ring everyone again to see if he has been handed in anywhere x

Just been looking at the link Diane67 put up. on the chat page someone says travellers are set up on Loire Drive would be worth looking around there.

I've put a few posters up around the Giants Hall area. Are there any up near the shops at Beech Hill and the surrounding area? You could try getting an article in the Wigan Reporter, they did a couple of features when Fetita was missing.
Diane67
No it's a web site www.wiganworld.co.uk, plenty of nice local people on it. You have to be a member to post on it but nonmembers can view posts
mabba21
Thanks, is that a fb page ?
Diane67
I have posted the link on Wigan World, a forum with plenty of people living in wigan and with relatives in the Wigan area, hope this helps
mabba21
