A lost westie dog has been reported in the local paper as having been found in a thin dishevelled condition in Horsham last week, approx 1 year old, could it be Pickle? Please email me for further details as I do not often log on to private messages.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

This pups name is Pickle. I believe he was actually lost on the 8th May but the owners failed to notify the relevant people at the time. I don't believe they have put up any posters! He went missing from Munro Ave, Woodley. Is there anyone who can help with postering? Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ok mystery solved, its dot 'org' not 'uk'. Had a look and believe this dog is too old for the missing one, just by looking at features. They only start to get the westie faces at about a year old, before that they are fluffy dogs. ( I keep them myself ) Plus this one is found Gateshead, and although not unheard of, slim chance. That said its tip offs like this that bring them home and owner should consider contacting the kennel. Thanks for that bronte. Sue xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Feel so sorry for this little one. Still no name and only a similar photo. Nonetheless, have emailed to the two vets as promised. Details of exactly where in Woodley this puppy went missing would be helpful. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Disappointing that still no additional info or photo available. As several days have now passed, is it worth checking if this little one is still missing and, if yes, asking for photo etc. to be provided?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Admin no photo still? What about the pic I sent - better than none and we can get postering. Too much time being lost. Sue xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Its a bit of a way away but then again you never know who may have spotted this gorgeous little pup. I hope he is found soon. May be worth putting posters round dinton? Have phoned the 2 vets in Woodley - Beechwood and Abbey Veterinary Group - giving them the details currently available and the DL tel no. Also have obtained email addreses for each so, as soon as photo available, pse can you include me on your mailing and I will ensure they are sent on. CaroleLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Sue-a library picture would help as have not had time to call owner as I am the only one at HQ today! The sooner we can alert local helpers the better!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, I'll email the poster to my sons School in Lower Earley and ask them to put one up there. Has Beechwood Vetinary Centre in Woodley (01189 272 999) been advised of his disappearance it might be an idea to let them know so that they scan all westies as they come in. And as all their clients are in the Woodley area they can be made aware? I do hope this baby is home soon. I'm afraid I can't help out until Saturday (and of course he will be home by then), but please let me know if me and 2 ickle helpers can be of help then!!!xxx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
